The modified 64 form is a shortened version of the standard 108 Wu style tai chi form. You can learn more about how it was developed here.
Consisting of 64 moves with alternatives, the form embraces every essential move in the standard tai chi form, but with less repetitions. It is about 10 minutes long to perform and is quite compact so can be practised even in quite small rooms.
In this workshop, although we will be starting the form from the beginning, it will be assumed that the student knows the basic movements of tai chi. However, if you are a complete beginner you will not be excluded and we will teach you the basics of the tai chi movements and you will soon catch up.
Continuing workshops will be held three times a year.
